Want to find out quickly if you’ve got what it takes to be a successful medical transcriptionist? If you’ve got basic spelling, grammar, punctuation, and technology skills you’re probably a good candidate. To be eligible for enrollment you have to score at least an 85% on our mandatory pre-enrollment test.

The test takes about 30 minutes to complete, and you’ll receive your score immediately upon completion. Please be sure you finish the entire test and enter your email address before submitting your test. We don’t score incomplete tests. You have up to three attempts to receive a passing score. In the event that you do not receive a passing score on your third attempt, it is required that you take our Grammar & Punctuation webinar series to become eligible for re-testing.

NOTE: MTEC doesn’t train or offer our products for sale outside the U.S. or Canada. We do offer training to the U.S. military and spouses/veterans who live on a U.S. military base outside the U.S. If you’re not a U.S. citizen or don’t live in the continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada, you are ineligible for our training.
