In 1996 a group of experienced medical transcriptionists realized that there was a widespread need for a high quality online medical transcription school with an emphasis on QUALITY.

The result was the Medical Technology Education Center (MTEC).

Today there are dozens of online speech recognition editing and medical transcription schools - not all of them emphasize quality. What sets us apart? Our focus on giving students the knowledge and training they need to succeed.
